Hello! Hello! Hello! Honestly, wish we could tell you guys we were holding you in suspense all day about the winners of the short story contest and who gets to be included in the Heard in Silence Anthology, but in all honesty…we forgot to put together our graphics and then Kayti had to work so Rissy and Jaidie spent all day putting them together….lol…on Canva, which was their first time using Canva! So, that was fun…haha…
Now, we have the winners. But let’s just say all the stories were good and if you’re isn’t included please don’t feel bad! We enjoyed reading them all! That being said…here are the winners!
Oh, also, we’re pretty sure somewhere in translation this was lost. But if you entered the original contest running during WoS’s release then your story is in the anthology! As you will see down below….Here we go! This is the order in which they will appear in the anthology as well. *winks*
Also, this post has a LOT of graphics and such so bear with it…lol…and us…haha…
First up…

This is a lovely romance/historical fiction story and was the winner of the WoS short story contest, as such it will be displayed first in the anthology! Saraina has a beautiful, vibrant writing style! And here is a quote from this lovely story…

Second

Alison was second in the WoS short story contest…and her contemporary story is very pretty and fun! Full of a beautiful theme of friendship! Here’s a quote from this one…

Third

And our third place winner from WoS’s contest! A story of mystery, intrigue…and well, a fight or two. This was a fun fantasy read! The sense of vibration and signing were used nicely! Here’s bit of it…

Fourth

A story by our very own, Rissy! It’s a beautiful contemporary story of looking to the bright side, but also…realizing that it is okay to miss something. โค
Fifth

Beautiful nights and quiet moments, dragons, and gifts of peace. Hard to sum this one up but it’s a very nice little fantasy story!
Sixth

Was it real? Was it not? What truly happened…The Dream is a very interesting read, a blend of contemporary and fantasy that makes you stop and think.
Seventh

This one is like a genre blender. It’s a historical fiction, with spy themes about Beethoven…cool right? We thought so too!
Eighth

A story by our very own Jaidie, it does not include a dragon which is surprising since she’s the dragon nerd, but it’s a beautiful contemporary story of unlikely friendship and faith! โค
Ninth

A short historical fiction that was fun to read! Learning to stand up and not hide from our fears!
Tenth

This is such a fun and cute story!!! Loved reading it! It’s a beautiful contemporary story of friendship!
Eleventh

Ack! This one was fun too! Storms and friendship and annoying little boys! It was just such a blast to read this contemporary!
Twelveth

Romance anyone? This one is a beautiful historical fiction! Loved reading it, even though most of the trio doesn’t read romance..lol..this was cute! And had some moments of humor…and yes!
Thirteenth

And a story from our very own Kayti! A fantasy about a boy who remembers sound but doesn’t hear it…
Fourteenth

And a lovely little poem that was entered! And that is the end!
Wow! So many awesome stories! Also, some pictures are taken from Pinterest, most from Canva…And if this post seems rushed, is littered with typos, or is incoherent at any part…our brains are dead today…lol…so, that’s why.
We can’t wait to move forward with this project! It will be after we get everything squared with Unfortunate Events, but that release is close which means work on this project is very close! We are so excited! What about you guys?
Hooroo! Signing out before we say anything else stupid…lol…
