Hey guys! We are so happy to see you all! *looks out over smiling subscribers* The blog tour for WoS was so fun! But also tiring, so we took a small break, but now we are ready to dive into our next project (s). Yeah, there might be more than one…lol…but we’re gonna focus on the one we need your help with today!
The anthology!!! A collection of Silence-themed short stories!!! We need a title! So, we have some options for you guys to vote on, please! We could really use some help in that area, so please click the button below and drop your vote!
Also, the submission form is open! We’re accepting a few more stories, so go ahead and submit and we’ll let you know whose stories are going to be featured with our contest entries!!! We are so excited about this! The stories have to have silence as a central theme and must be 3,000 words or less (but if you go over a little, we’re not gonna exclude you, it all comes down to content in the end 😉). Also, the submissions are open till the end of June, then they will close.
We’re so super excited about doing this with all of you!!! An anthology is a group project, and we can’t wait to get started on editing and organizing it! Creating story heading art and all that jazz! Jaidie is brainstorming cover ideas, but she kind of wants a title to go on. (So please vote! Ask your friends to vote, just help us out…lol…)
When we first came up with the idea, we thought about just offering the anthology as a free ebook, but then we were like, wait, let’s think this through. There’s no way we can divide the money between everyone, but we can donate any money made to a charity! So, we’re looking into finding a charity that helps deaf kids and their families, which is where all the money made would go. If that sounds good to everyone? And if any of you know of a charity like that, let us know!
In the coming weeks, we’ll be posting clips from the stories and sharing about the progress on the anthology, announcing the title, orchestrating a cover reveal, blog tour, interviews with our authors, and all that jazz! We’re so excited!
Now, you may be wondering how you can help…well, tell as many people as you can about it! If you find a good charity let us know (we’ve been lacking time lately to look for one but we really want to do that!). But getting the word out is the biggest thing, of course having a title would be nice….so, as soon as we pick that we’ll let you know what it’s going to be called!!!!
