Wow! We waited a while to do this one…lol…well, technically we did it, we just haven’t posted it. Why? You might ask, nobody knows…except that we forgot or when we remembered we didn’t want to do it at the moment….haha…thanks for hanging with us the last week or so as the blog was virtually dead…our dog has been sick, so, we’ve been taking care of him. Thank goodness he’s on the mend now!

Joelle’s Questions:
- What is your favorite story of all time?
You mean top ten? Top twenty? No? Just one….*sighs* Okay, we’ll try….Top series? What if it’s a continued story? No?…Still just one…bummer. Um, favorite story. Not book….wait! Favorite story…hahaha….okay, this is our favorite story, not book….too many books to choose…
Okay, so our parents used to tell us this super sweet story…we don’t know the name but we’ll tell you the gist of the story. There was a little girl who was hurt and needed blood or she was going to die. We think she was an orphan…well, a little boy volunteered to give her some of his blood, and turned out they were a match so it worked. But in the end, after he had donated blood he looked at the nurse and asked if he was going to die now. Not in a scared way, almost as if he expected to die…like he had thought the whole time he was giving his blood to save her life and would lose his own…such a sweet tear-jerking story…*wipes eyes* we are not crying.
- Who is your favorite character, and why? (Feel free to use one of yours. ;))
What? What?!?!?!? We only get one!?!?!?! You mean top hundred right? Hahaha, one…that’s funny, Joelle! *Glares in Joelle’s direction* Okay, let us compose ourselves and try to pick one….*takes deep breathes* Nope not happening.
Jaidie: “How about we pick our favorite books and pick one character from each book.”
Kayti: “That could take forever…we have like eighty favorite books with multiple favorite characters in each that we love.”
- What is your least-favorite movie?
Oh, least favorite….easier….we guess….hmmmmm….least favorite movie….um….
Rissy: “Inside Out, makes me feel dumb and small…I hate it. Sorry, I know that’s an unpopular opinion.”
Jaidie: “The Cartoon Hobbit….bleh! Disgrace! Honestly, I think it was scarier than the real thing…lol…maybe cause I was like seven when we tried to watch it…hahaha….”
Kayti: “StarGirl, I don’t know the way homeschoolers were portrayed as these totally weird don’t know how to socialize sort of people, grated my nerves. The songs in it were okay…and it was decently done…but still.”
- Do you write with or without music?
We can do either….we like to play our ‘Writing Inspiration’ Playlist while we write (it’s playing now! 😊😊😊) But we can also write without music…either works!
- Best snack?
Snacks! Did someone say snacks? We love snacks!!! Our parents take us on mountain road drives on the weekend (man, that sounds like we’re little…) correction we go on mountain road drives with our parents on the weekends and we take SNACKS!!! Best snack….hands down JERKY!!!! BEST SNACK EVER!!!
- Where would you live, if you could live anywhere (existent or non-existent)?
Ooo, since we already did an existent one let us pick a non-existent one….hmmm, maybe we would like to live in Aerwiar? Or Natalia? Or Narnia…Ooo, or Middle-Earth? Oh, how about Carthya? Oh, or we could live in Ahoratos? Or Arrethtrae!? Okay, too many too choose from…lol….
- Who would you like to spend five minutes with, dead or alive?
Dead would be really creepy! Like super creepy! Imagine talking to a dead person for five minutes…yeah, no. Okay, so alive it is….hmmm…how about our besties Abbi and Saraina!!! That would be super cool!!! (Okay, for those of you who don’t know their our besties who live in another state and Canada…so, we’ve never actually met but they are the best!!!)
- Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Wow! Gonna go deep for this one….um…hm…we know our parents have had great words of wisdom…um, best advice… “Pray about everything, trust God, write for Him and not yourself, and follow His guidance, He’ll never lead you astray.” Our dad!!! He’s so wise!
- Favorite blog?
What? No! Joelle! *frantically searches for Joelle* How are we supposed to pick a favorite blog…it’s impossible!!! We love Teen Writers’ Nook, Saraina Whitney’s blog, Sword of the Penmaiden, Madi’s Musings, The Pencil Sisters, Bookish Productions, Grace A Johnson’s blog, and so many others!!!!! Why must you try and make us choose!!!! (Also, none of those are linked because we’re being lazy…lol…)
- What is your opinion on favorites? Do you like them, dislike them, something else? Why?
Well, *ahem* we think it’s pretty obvious what our opinions are on favorites are…we pretty much complained about every question…we’re indecisive and we hate picking just one favorite and therefore we have multiple favorites!!! Favorites for everyone!!!! Lol….

- What is something that you absolutely love, but no one else you know does?
Hmmm, well used to we would have said The Green Ember or writing, but then we met our friends Abbi and Saraina (hey guys!), so that’s not true anymore…
Maybe, Bordertown! It’s a series about a western town on the border of Montana and Canada….it’s soooooo good!! But no one we know was seen it! Marshall Craddock is just, ahh. And Corporal Bennet (The Mountie) wow! The two of them together are hilarious and fun and awesome! And don’t forget Marie!!!

- Pen on paper or computer writing?
Computer!!! We’re faster at typing and or voice typing in Rissy’s case! 😊😊😊
- What’s your favourite piece of prose you’ve ever written? Why? (Will you share it? )
Hmm, not sure we’ve had a favorite…okay we probably have…um, share separately or as a group….weighting options here…um….Let’s do group because it’s easier! Um, probably this bit from The Never-Ending Trail:
The moon was hidden behind the veil of clouds, as were the stars. The night was mournful and silent, the only sound that of the rushing river beside her. The trees reached their scraggly arms to the barren sky like ghosts coming to haunt her. A soft breeze swept through the trees, causing the branches to rattle like bones and the pines to moan like lost souls. The bushes shook in the breeze and made her think of wild beasts and unpleasant tales.

- Which do you like writing about more, characters or plot?
Well, we don’t really have plots…so characters…you can’t have a plot without characters right? But then you can’t have characters without a plot, well you can but it’d be kind of lame…soooo, both!? We guess…lol….
- What’s your favourite hobby (aside from writing/blogging)?
Okay, we’re not gonna say reading though that’s there…really it’s more of an obsession than a hobby though….lol….okay…
Jaidie’s favorite hobby is ART!!! She loves drawing and digital art (also, she’s really good at it!!! *Proud sisters here!!!*)
Rissy’s favorite hobby is writing! (What, I don’t have any others…writing is my life! Well, I guess if it’s my life it’s not a hobby…lol…)
Kayti’s favorite hobby is…she has a million hobbies….um, (Kayti speaking this is going to sound so old ladyish *slaps forehead*) is crocheting! (Taught myself, made a bennie and I love it!!! Sorry, I’m an old soul…lol…) (Jaidie here, I want a rainbow bennie!) (Not the time Jai, not the time…)
- Cats or dogs? Or something completely different altogether?
Dogs!!!! DOGS!!!! DOGS!!!!! Love dogs!!!! Our dog is the best!!!! (Okay, that’s a personal opinion, but he is great!)
- What are you most passionate about in life and why are you passionate about it?
Probably serving our Lord and writing! We love writing stories that reveal the Lord in a way that is beautiful! But we also enjoy just weaving a fun tale or simply spending time in prayer with the Creator of the Greatest Story of All TIME!!!!
- What is your most beautiful memory?
Okay, so we conferred and decided that our most beautiful memories are beautiful because they are treasured within our hearts! Moments we haven’t shared with many people and do not wish to share on this public platform, no offense to anyone.
- Has a song ever made you cry? If so, what song(s)?
Kayti, gonna admit yes. It was Different by Micah Tyler and I really needed to hear it that time!!! Makes me tear up almost every time. Also, Faith, Hope, Love, Repeat…can’t remember who sings it but it reminds me of our dad…and makes me tear up cause he’s the best!
Rissy, I came close one time while listening to Be Kind to Yourself by Andrew Peterson and I had just had a conversation with mom and so the song hit home. (Oh, that makes me tear up too! Kayti here…) And Human by Christina Perri makes me want to cry….so true.
Jaidie, not that I can remember. Some songs have hit home or made me sad…but not cry.
- Do you like poetry? Why or why not?
Jaidie says no, the rhyming get’s on her nerves.
Rissy says she likes writing it some times and it’s okay….some of it’s pretty but most people make it sad and depressing…lol….
Kayti likes certain poems…some get on her nerves but others she likes. The cadence of the words and such is really important, she also enjoys writing the occasional poem.
- What’s usually the first thing you think about when you wake up?
Um, food. That dream was a great book idea! (proceeds to fall out of loft beds or hit our heads on the loft) How hot or cold the room is…maybe how we want to go back to sleep…lol….lots of things.
