Hey-oh folks! This Gray Canvas releases in 8 days! 8 DAYS!!! I am so excited for you all to meet Ethan and Sophie, so much so that I created some intros so you could meet them early! Sort of…lol…

I’m so excited about this books release! It was the hardest book for me to write and strangely enough my shortest book as well. But Ethan’s condition needed a whole lot of research and then his introvertism was a royal pain, but he’s such a sweetie I can’t be mad at him!

Ethan Intro

Meet Ethan Connors the MC from my new Middle-Grade Contemporary This Gray Canvas!

I thought it’d be fun to introduce you to Ethan by the things he likes and doesn’t like! But first the most important thing to know about Ethan is that he has Monochromatic vision, making him 1 in 30,000 people who see the world in black and white! With the exception of green in Ethan’s case. Which would narrow that number down even further…though I don’t know the math on that one. XD

Things Ethan likes:

—Art! Of all mediums, but especially painting

—Music! He loves to jam while he paints.

—The color green! It’s literally his lifeline.

—His family! Especially his mom.

—The country, or places with lots of green!

Things he dislikes:

—People…lol…he’s 96% introverted! Which equals extremely hard to write if anyone is curious.

—School, because of the people part of the school. He’d love to be homeschooled.

—Crowds, again, people are the problem. They make him anxious.

—Cities, no color, so dead and over-stimulating with all the people…*nods*

—Being the center of attention, his condition often leaves him in that position and he hates it.

—Rugs! His arch-nemesis because he can’t see them very well…they blend in with the floor too much.

As you can see, it all mostly has to do with people…lol…he’d definitely be down with becoming a homeschooled hermit, like me…hahaha…

Sophie Intro

Meet Sophie from This Gray Canvas! She’s not a main character, but she is central to the plot of the book! So, you get to meet my bubbly bookworm!

Things Sophie likes:

—BOOKS! She loves books! Lol…

—People! So the exact opposite of Ethan in that respect…lol…

—Music! She likes reading and listening at the same time.

—Central Park, being close to nature and away from all the noise (even extroverts need to recharge)

—Her parents!

—Ethan’s art! She thinks it’s the coolest!

Things she dislikes:

—Bullies *ahem* just read the book to know why

—Being ignored, but she is very quick to bounce back when she gets upset

—Silence, doesn’t everyone? The awkward tension. *shivers*

And yeah, not many things this girl doesn’t like…lol…also, she’s not an MC so…her page time isn’t as much as Ethan’s. That doesn’t mean I love her any less though.

Conclusion
