Thank you, now, as I was saying. How has everyone been? Today I’m doing a tag that Jaidie made called…
*Percy cuts in* “Operation Mood Board!”
*Kayti glares at Fudgebottom until he is appropriately shamed and growls in frustration* Yes, I’m doing what Percy said with my YA fantasy…*glares at Percy* Emberling!
The rules from Jaiden Phillips Art!
How it works:
- First you must need a handy-dandy Playlist and Pinterest board for your book!
- Second, find 5 songs on said Playlist that describe/sum-up your book the most and 2 songs (per each character you do) that describe your character! Take a screenshot of each song then put the screenshotted songs on a template! (Simple! You can also choose 5 songs that describe, say, significant characters relationships, whether they be a couple, siblings, best friends, ect!)
- Thirdeth, (is that a word?) Go to said Pinterest board, download pictures that sum up or go with your character’s ~MOOD~ . (Don’t show us your character’s face tho, we need to know them without ever seeing them! 😉 ) and a few quotes that describe them as well! Download images then slap them on a template!
- You’re done!
The Ruleses Preciouses:
- Link back to the original post (Yours truly) so I can find you! (That sounded kind of creepy…lol…)
- You only get 5 songs to describe your book (and/or character relationships) and 2 songs for each character either Main or Side charrie! (You can do as many characters as you want tho!)
- Don’t show your character’s face! The whole point is to know them without seeing them! (You can show us a back view and/or if they are hooded, face hidden behind something, say a pet 😉 )
- Don’t put quotes from your actual book! You must get them from Pinterest, makes it more interesting 😉
- Leave the tags open so whoever wants to join can! 😉
- Have fun!

This was so super fun! I had hard time figuring out which songs fit the whole vibe of the book though…lol…
Songs that Describe Malcolm!
These songs kind of describe where Malcolm is at the start and end of the book. Though The Villian just really sums him up at the climax so well!
Songs that Describe Iya!
Iya’s songs just show her inner struggle through out the books, since she’s got a twist on the hidden identity trope! And I’ll Find a Way is like someone hacked my computer and read my book and wrote a song!

Songs for thems! They are so complicated though in reality…lol…their relationship in the books is a tangled mess for a bit.

Malcolm’s a ranger, dedicated to justice and peace, no matter the cost and I just love this character so much!
