Least favorite, that often changes too…lol…but really some least favorites of ours are:

‘Lights Shine Bright’ – the beginning of this song creeps us out…lol…something about the whispering when it starts off. *shivers*

Oh, lots of songs make us happy! Lol…So let’s see… ‘Smile’ by Sidewalk Prophets… ‘Happy Dance’ by Mercy Me… ‘Where no One Goes’ by Jonsi (from HTTYD 2)…

Ack, so many…why are so many good songs also sad sounding songs? Anyone understand this? Anyway… ‘Scars in Heaven’ by Casting Crowns…’Unplanned’ by Matthew West…’Chasing’ and ‘Wanted’ by Danny Gokey, such a good songs but also so sad… ‘I Hope You Dance’ by Mandisa…

A Song That Makes You Feel Guilty

Well, we love both these songs but they do make you feel guilty and want to do better so… ‘What are We Waiting For’ by For King and Country and ‘Start Right Here’ by Casting Crowns….both such good songs that call out the lax way our generation and nation lives.

A Song That Often Gets Stuck In Your Head

Ugh, now it’s such…why must you ask…’It’s a Hard Not Life’ from Annie…we don’t watch Annie, never have…because we hate this song!

Right now though the one that is stuck in our head is ‘Last Man Standing’ by Livingston…lol….

A Song That Reminds You Of Someone

‘Dream’ by Priscilla Anne reminds us of our whole family because our sister Kayla made a video of pictures to that song, and it was her Daddy/Daughter dance song at her wedding.

“Raised on That’ by High Valley is another song that reminds us of our family!

‘Alberta Bound’ by Paul Brandt also reminds us of our Papaw because he loves Alberta!

A Song That Reminds You Of Someplace

‘The Gambler’ by Kenny Rogers reminds us of New Mexico because we listed to it while eating ciruela (aka mini plums…lol…)!

‘Rocky Mountain High’ by John Denver reminds us of Colorado because we listened to it on our trip there…lol…also, the song from The Sound of Music, the one…you know, ‘I am 16 going on 17…’ reminds us of Colorado because we sang it out there while walking across walls and acting out that scene…lol… #homeschooled

‘In the Night’ by Andrew Peterson reminds us of our one and only concert experience! It was great! Loved it!

‘It is What it is’ by Jenna Raine! We dance to this one all the time…lol… ‘Don’t Stop Praying’ by Matthew West, this is a great song! ‘The Greatest Show’ by Panic! At the Disco…oh, and ‘Centuries’ by the Fallout Boy.

A Song That Makes You Fall Asleep

Lol…we’ve never fallen asleep to music…haha, but ‘Too-Ra-Loo-Ra-Loo-Ral (That’s An Irish Lullaby)’ Could definitely make us fall asleep! It’s prettiest when sung by a girl. *smiles*

Not a band we hate, but we’re not fans *glances around* of Taylor Swift…*hides* so the only song we can really tolerate of hers is ‘Mean’…and mainly because we might write a book…lol…

A Song Nobody Would Expect You To Love

Our mom doesn’t expect us to like the songs we like is often amazed…or raising an eyebrow at our choice in music, she is more of an old country or jazz gal.

You guys probably don’t expect us to have a deep love and apprecaition for The Doobie Brothers and Allman Brothers *dust off albums of dad’s*

So, we like ‘I Cheated the Hangman’ by the Doobie Brothers and ‘Midnight Rider’ by the Allman Brothers, among other songs…*hides again*

We also really like “Lineman for the Country’ by Glenn Campbell, old souls, what can we say!?

A Song That Describes You

OH, that’s a hard one…umm, let us ponder this one for a second…

‘Work in Progress’ by Leanna Crawford, ‘Echo’ by Livingston, ‘Breathe’ by Johnny Diaz, ‘Love Who I Am’ by Allison Eide and ‘Raised on That’ by High Valley all sum us up as a group really well!

Kayti’s song would probably be… ‘I’m in a Hurry’ by Alabama…because yep, that’s me. My brain has way too many tabs open at a time, like a squirrel on redbull, a quiet squirrel mind you…lol….

Rissy’s song would probably be… ‘Someday’ by One Republic – I often feel alone in a crowd, or even wishing I could just disappear when I feel crowded…lol…so I relate to the song a lot!

Jaidie’s song would probably be… ‘Painter’ by Aimee Carty – hiding in my corner while trying to sell art, yeah, it’s not the greatest plan…but then I don’t really have a plan besides selling art at the moment. *facepalm*

An Underrated Song More People Should Love

‘Nails’ and ‘Show You the Cross’ by Matty Mullins, ‘The Ballad of Kidder Cole’ by Appalachian Road Show, ‘Even When Your Running’ by Casting Crowns, we stumbled across this gem and it’s just beautiful! ‘The Paradox’ by The Hound + The Fox, also so good!

A Song That You Often Hear on The Radio

We don’t listen to the radio…lol…but bluegrass we sometimes do with our parents and we often hear ‘Maybelle’ by The Grascals.

A Song You Wish You Heard on the Radio

Um, ‘Riding Through the Country’ by Shannon Slaughter every time we tune into bluegrass! It’s our driving theme song…lol…and so pretty!

A Song You Listen To When You’re Happy

Pretty much anything! If we’re happy we’re not picky we just turn on the playlist…but we tend to like Imagine Dragons, NEEDTOBREATHE, Sidewalk Prophets, For King and Country, One Republic, Beth Crowley (so many book ideas!)!

‘Scars in Heaven’ by Casting Crowns, ‘I Can Only Imagine’ by Mercy Me, ‘Grace Wins’ by Matthew West would a good one to go out to…lol…we probably shouldn’t have so many picked out…lol…

Oh, and the classic for the south, ‘I’ll Fly Away’ can’t do without that one.

A Song That Makes You Laugh

‘What the Fox Says’ makes us laugh because it’s a silly song…lol…

Also, ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeren is now a song we break down in giggles about because of Sing 2…haha…

‘One Piece at Time’, ‘A Boy Named Sue’, and ‘I’ve Been Everywhere’ by Johnny Cash all crack us up, last one because dad sang it about our van…haha…

‘All Shook Up’ by Elvis because there’s a hilarious video of our oldest brother lip singing it…lol…

A Song From Your Childhood

Oh, wow! Our dad loves music…lol…We had a Jack Johnson disc that we played a lot so songs like, ‘Constellations’, ‘Breakdown’, ‘Better Together’, ‘Staple it Together’, ‘Remember’, and ‘Sitting, Waiting, Wishing’….but we also had a Dobbie Brothers disc and Allman Brothers disc, oh, and two Johnny Cash discs…lol…and a mixed country disc. John Denver, Randy Travis…lots of music. We didn’t listen often because mom enjoys silence but when we did we had fun!…lol…

Your Favorite Duet

‘You Are the Reason’ by Callum Scott and Ilse DeLange….it’s beautiful! Also, the only duet we can think of that isn’t a band…lol…

Your Favorite Song at This Time of Year

Hmm, we don’t really have songs for specific times of the year, unless it’s Christmas or Fourth of July and then we have songs…lol…other than that we just listen to music…haha…
