Hey folks! So, we’ve hit a bit of a conundrum…we don’t know what to post…lol…Thus, we came up with this super fun idea, and you get to help us!

We’ve decided to use this post as a brief intro into what each of us likes to do and our passions. At the bottom of the post will be a Google form where you can ask us anything about our interests, books, or a topic you’d like to hear our opinion on, and we’ll compile your answers onto a list and work our way through them! Creating a blog post around each question or whatever…

So, it doesn’t have to be just questions. Sure, you can ask what Rissy thinks about writing romance, or you ask to see her character boards or story clips.

You could ask Kayti to write something on the power of stories or about her current WIP, what she’s editing, how she formats, why she writes fantasy…etc. Go crazy!

You can ask Jaidie about her art, the book covers she designs, her characters, what her playlist looks like, and why she loves redemption arcs…

Now that we’ve peppered you with some ideas, here’s some insight into our interest!

Kayti

• Believes stories and words can change the world.
• Believes in Clean Fiction and making the world aware of the content featured in YA and MG books.
• Loves redemption stories, the amnesia trope, action and adventure, & romances focusing on the relationship, not what the characters look like.
• Has a long list of authors and books she loves in just about every genre.
• Dabbles in graphic design but is more comfortable with book formatting.
• Has some insight about free indie publishing resources
• Is about to start The Author Adventure
• Has lots of stories ranging from fantasy to Westerns to WWI and everything in between, feel free to ask about anything story-related.
• Also loves to give encouragement, if she can think of what to say.

Rissy

• Writes fantasy and dabbles in contemporary (more like humor)
• Writes flash fiction occasionally.
• Is passionate about good books for YA and MG readers.
• Chuck Black is her all-time favorite author!
• She loves action, adventure, a dash of mystery, and plenty of cliffhangers and gut-churning moments (not in a gory way, but in an oh, dear, what’s about to happen way.)
• Knows a lot about Alaska & Ireland because, well, she wants to go there.
• Loves animals and trains our dog, Ruger.
• Bakes a lot for family.
• Loves talking about her current WIP as it helps her stay in the groove.

Jaidie

• Writes YA and MG fiction and fantasy
• Is about to publish her debut, The Guild of Thieves
• Loves talking about art or current WIPs, or her boys Dice and Dangyr. 😉
• Falls for the sidekicks all the time, or the geeky character, underdog, or sarcastic one.
• Has major sarcasm and is not afraid to call it like she sees it.
• Art and writing are her passions.
• HTTYD (How to Train Your Dragon) and LotR (Lord of the Rings) are her biggest fandoms!

Have you ever had trouble coming up with something to post? How do you refuel the post bank? We know a lot of people do reviews, but *ahem* we don’t read the same books and each only post once a month, so doing a book review for the one post we do a month seems lame…lol…
