5 Prompts to Beat Writer’s Block

Hey-yah, guys! So, it’s been a while. I have a good reason for disappearing too, life has been a bit crazy for me being busy and all with spring on its way and such.

Have you seen the new design we did for our blog? If so, do you like it, also this post won’t be much since I don’t really know what to do, and I’m kind of on short notice, here.

But I wanted to bring you guys something you might be able to use so…I have come up with writing prompts! Yes, you heard me, prompts! Sentences to get you in the mood to write when you’re stuck! So enjoy the sentences below and maybe bookmark this page for the next writer’s block decides to visit.

Especially for you, 5 Prompts to Beat Writer’s Block!

Thunder shook the dark heavens above, and lightning dodge between swaying trees. In the middle of all of this, I stood with my face turned toward the stinging rain.

Prompt #1

My breath came in uneven gasps of air. I fingered the pistol at my side. This was the end of him. No more running.

Prompt #2

My stomach churned with nausea as I stared into clear, crystal-blue eyes. How could I tell her? Oh, how can I tell her how I feel?

Prompt #3

Power coursed through me like a rising flood and I stretched my long wings out in the deep blue sky. Each powerful stroke lifting me higher than ever before.

Prompt #4

And then the world ended.

Prompt #5

Tah-dah! So, I hope these prompts are able to help you out of a pickle, should you ever find yourself in a pickle that is. What do you do to beat writer’s block? Do you like writing prompts? And most importantly, what are your plans for Easter?

Enjoy your weekend! Happy Good Friday!

He is Risen!

God Bless!

Hiya, my name is Marisa Phillips but please call me Rissy. I love writing, music, dragons, phoenixes (Flaming birds? Come on, that's awesome!) lions, foxes, rabbits, dogs (I also like a tons of other animals but don't have room to list them), baking with my mom, teasing my sisters, cuddling with our dog Ruger, and trying to make other people smile!

  1. (And the new site design is awesome!!! 😍 I love how clear everything is and the smaller splashes of color! The light blue font is a little hard to read, though, because of how light it is, but maybe it’s that’s something to do with my laptop? 🀭)
