Hello folks! Sorry, this is late…lol…we had to find time to work on it. So, we present you with the Christmas Favorites Tag! Basically, we have a bunch of favorite Christmas-based questions which you answer and then tag eight fellow bloggers to do the tag! We’ll list the rules in just a bit!
Christmas is one of our favorite times of the year! And it’s finally gotten cold down here in our part of the South so that’s great! We’ve got a 30% chance of snow on Christmas Eve and praying that jumps to about 90 or 100% over the next few days…lol…
We haven’t seen a Chritmas tag floating around, so we decided to do one ourselves! So, we hope you guys enjoy!
Alright, so here goes with the tag!
Rules:
-Use the Christmas Favorites Tag banner
-Link back to www.sisters-three.com
-Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their post
-Tag eight fellow bloggers
-And have lots of fun!!!
Questions:
Favorite Christmas Memory?
Favorite Christmas Treat?
Favorite Christmas Tradition?
Favorite Christmas Song?
Tell us your favorite funny Christmas story…
Favorite Christmas Movie?
Plans for Christmas this year? (Yeah, not a favorite but still fun!)
And now we’ll answer our own questions and tag some people!!!
Favorite Christmas Memory?
Okay, our favorite was the year dad had special rhymes for everyone. He’d hidden some of our bigger presents and made rhymes or gave us quotes to find them with! It was so much fun! He had made Kayti a bookshelf and Kayti and the boys got B-B guns, Rissy and Jaidie got doll horses for their 18-inch dolls and Sisters Three received two bunnies! Our first two that they had somehow kept secret for 3 days…lol…it was so much fun!
Favorite Christmas Treat?
Hard one…Buckeyes are good! So are Martha Washington Bonbons, though Jaidie doesn’t like the pecans in them. Fudge is great…we’re not huge sugar cookie fans…gingerbread is good though! But oh, there are so many Christmas treats! Oh, Tater Candy is good, but super sweet so you only want a little…but still…okay, favorite is probably ritz crackers with peanut butter between them and dipped in dark chocolate.
Favorite Christmas Tradition?
Every Christmas Eve we go to our Nana and Papaw’s and eat snack foods like sweet pickles, cheese, crackers, sandwiches, summer sausage, potted meat, pepper jelly, and all sorts of other random snack foods after we eat we watch The Nativity together it’s just a really fun tradition!
Favorite Christmas Song?
We don’t really have one…lol…except Jaidie really likes O Come, O Come Emmanuel…and Kayti Really likes Beautiful Star of Bethlehem.
Favorite Christmas Story to Read?
The Christmas Story!!! The one and only from the Bible, we usually read from Luke!
Tell us your favorite funny Christmas story…
There was one year that our older sister, Kayla, hid our Christmas present from her outside, and it was one of our two white Christmases…so all the clues were covered up and we were just wandering around trying to find it…lol…then it was down a small bank and Kayti fell on her butt…haha…
Favorite Christmas Movie?
Oh, this one is pretty easy! We love Fred Claus, It’s a Wonderful Life, Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe…that last one counts, Santa Claus is in it!
Plans for Christmas this year? (Yeah, not a favorite but still fun!)
Well, we’ll do our Christmas Eve stuff, then Church Sunday morning, and then at 4pm on Christmas day we’ll be having Christmas Dinner with Nana and Papaw, Aunt Kelly and Uncle Bryan, our older sister Kayla and her husband Phil, our older brother Matt, and Nana Louise! One big happy family! (Of course, our parents and other two older siblings will be there because they live with us, or rather we live with them…lol…)
Alright! We are so excited for y’all to do this tag! So, we tag…
If we didn’t tag you, it’s not because we don’t like you but because we are trying to keep the list short and leave people for others to tag, but if you want to do this tag, go for it!
Have fun with this one guys! If you don’t have a blog feel free to answer the questions in the comments!
Until next time!
Hooroo! And Merry Christmas!!!

I don’t have a blog…yet, so I won’t be able to do the tagging, but I still wanted to comment. Hope you girls are having a wonderful last week of the year! Did y’all get your snow on Christmas?
I didn’t know peanut butter balls were called buckeyes down South! That’s neat!
And yes, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe counts as a Christmas movie. 😀 I love that one too!
Have a beautiful day! God bless.

Thank you for commenting! We’ve had a great week, and no, no snow on Christmas but we did get a little dusting of snow the day after Christmas.
Yep! We dip them in chocolate and leave a small spot without chocolate on the top like the buckeye nuts from the buckeye trees down here.
Glad you agree! Lol…
You too! Bless!

This looks like fun! Thanks so much for the tag, guys!
Okay, so what’s Tater Candy and Buckeyes? (Lol, you can tell I’m not Southern.)
And solving clues/riddles to find your presents sound like so much fun! I remember our parents doing that a few years back, but it was for something different (not Christmas; more like a scavenger hunt thing).

You’re so welcome!!!
Haha, Tater Candy is made with boiled potatoes, powdered sugar, and peanut butter, which sounds like a weird combo but the potato is mainly to keep the powdered sugar together…lol…that’s why it’s so sweet, it’s kind of hard to make but Nana Weezie makes it every year. And Buckeyes are also known as Peanut Butter Balls. (Hahaha, no biggy….we have some interesting names for things, and we like to make it fun! Lol…)
Oh, it is so fun! And that sounds great too!!!

Huh, that’s so cool. Never would have thought of that combo. Your Nana must be a pro at making it! And Buckeyes sound yummy too.
