December Eve Blog Party! Part 1

Hello folks! Welcome to the December Eve Blog Party hosted by the amazing and incredible Lillian Keith over at The Introspective Introvert! What is this party about? Well, let us tell you!

There are going to be two back-to-back posts: one on November 30th (Today) and one on December 1st (Tomorrow). Today the post is about our favorite songs which we answered based on three prompts, you were supposed to pick 3-5 songs but we might have bent that a little…lol…

Tomorrow we’ll be posting our ultimate Christmas Playlist! (Which we have to finish putting together) The playlist we’re putting together is on YouTube so anyone will be able to listen to it. 😉 Be sure to hop back by tomorrow for that!

Okay, that takes care of the rules, and here are the prompts and our favorite Christmas songs!!!

Classic Carols

Beautiful Star of Bethlehem it’s a classic southern Christmas song and if you haven’t heard it…well, it’ll be in our playlist we post tomorrow! It’s an all-time favorite! We love this song!

Jingle Bells is definitely a favorite…lol…we love signing it until we have no breath left…haha…

Go Tell it On the Mountain our Nana used to play this one in church on her guitar (she was the music director at our old church) and it was so much fun to sing along with everyone!

One Small Child is a really good song!!! Loved singing this one!

Turn Up the Radio!

Oh, we love these songs! Songs that make us want to dance, yes, please! Okay, not promising we aren’t going to do more than five here…lol…

Santa Claus is Coming to Town by Jackson 5, super fun song! We love this one!!!

Underneath the Tree by Kelly Clarkson! Oh, we love this one!!! Like one of our favorites!!!

Likes it’s Christmas by The Jonas Brothers! Ooooo!!! This one!!! Guys this one!!!! Love dancing to this one!!!!

Run, Run Rudolph! by…honestly, doesn’t really matter who this is a great song…lol…one of our all-time favorites and the only one that our brothers will jam to with us!

Daddy Looked a Lot Like Santa by Brad Paisley, this one is sooooo much fun!!! It’s cute, it’s catchy, and it’s fun! Love listening to this one!!!

Childhood Favorites

Oh, this is gonna be fun!!!!

Silver and Gold by Burl Ives we used to listen to this one a lot with our parents!

Good King Wenceslas we don’t have a favorite person that sings this because it was always our dad whistling or singing the first line of it…lol…that’s pretty much how we know Christmas celebrating is official, the moment dad starts whistling Good King Wenceslas…lol…

Penguin, James Penguin by Brad Paisley, we listened to this one a lot! It was on the same disc as Daddy Looked a Lot Like Santa and we like both of them…lol….

Kung Pao Buckaroo Holiday by Brad Paisley and others, this one is just hilarious guys! It’s like so funny! Our older sisters liked listening to it and getting a kick out of it.

A Christmas Hallelujah our Great Aunt sang this one for us a few years back and it’s one of our favorite Christmas memories!!

Angels Among Us by Alabama, oh this one is sad but soooooo extremely good!!!

Conclusion

Thank you so much for reading! Don’t forget to hop back by tomorrow for our playlist and to check out the rest of the party! The schedule can be found on Lillian’s blog!

What are your favorite classic carols? Do you have Christmas songs that make you want to dance? Any of these songs you haven’t heard before? And most importantly, have you heard Beautiful Star of Bethlehem before?

Till next time!

Hooroo!

Sisters Three

Published by Sisters Three

Hi, we're Kayti, Rissy, and Jaidie, a writing trio of sisters, living in the Southern Appalachians of Western North Carolina. The three of us are as thick as thieves as they say, whoever "they" are. We have four older siblings, a controlling German Shorthaired Pointer named Ruger, and a Mini Lop rabbit named Smallsy-Jo. We're homeschooled by our amazing mom and our dad is a pastor and avid plant hunter. Our dad encouraged us to start writing after he heard an elaborate story we made up, so we started writing things down, and eventually the things we wrote down actually made sense and now we're writers! Or aspiring writers anyway.
