Whoop-whoop! Okay, I got distracted, forgot I had to write a blog post, and spent all my spare time drawing *ahem* HTTYD fanart…*Grins Sheepishly* So, that’s what you guys are getting today! That and a slight update/thank you at the end of the post!
Now, let’s get started!!!
Who loves HTTYD? You can’t possibly love it as much as me (I am the Dragon Nerd after all…lol…) It’s like the greatest of all time! Love the dragons and love the characters! Love the shows and movies (except the last one because it ruined everything, rant for another time).
Anyway, the girls and I have been watching Race to the Edge a HTTYD series Netflix did (it’s really good actually) and I have been fanart drawing! So, I’ve three for you! The first one is…everyone’s favorite dragon….*drumroll please*
Toothless!!!! (Also, I had to put the pictures in a black and white filter to get them to look like they did in the sketchbook, the lighting in my room is weird…lol..)
And then, Kayti was like I like Stormfly and Rissy was like Astrid and Stormfly are cool and I’m like, ah, I get the hint I’ll draw Stormfly…lol…So, here is Stormfly!
And last…someone who is like super cute! I love this guy! He’s from Race to the Edge so if you haven’t seen the series you won’t know him. He’s a type of dragon called a Death Song, I know so enduring. And his name is Garf! I love him…hehehe…he’s a pic!
So, I hope you guys enjoyed my fanart as much as I enjoyed drawing it…lol…which was your favorite? Should I do more? (Please say yes…lol…) Do you like seeing my art? Would you like me to post more? Because honestly, I’m not big on posting my art, but if people like it, I will. 🙂

*Ahem, takes deep breath* These are all my personal opinions so please don’t get mad any of you Hidden World fans….But, okay, so I didn’t really like the Light Fury, it was like they were trying to up Toothless with her or something….like she was teaching Toothless how to do all this stuff but Toothless was the same age as Hiccup so if Hiccup was 15 in the first movie that meant Toothless was wild for 15 years, which is a long time for dragons considering most dragons are full grown in a few months or a year at most. It just didn’t seem right that the Light Fury was teaching Toothless to go invisible and such, the whole going invisible thing kinda ruined how Toothless was supposed to own the night because you couldn’t see him in the dark but if he can just go invisible whenever it just ruins the cool part of Night Furries…also, I hated the ending, it ruined everything for me. The whole Hiccup and Toothless bond from movie 1 and 2 and all the series, the whole ‘With Vikings on the backs of dragons the world just got a whole lot better’ thing they did…I liked the dragons bond with the people. Plus why did the dragons ever leave the Hidden World if it was so safe? It doesn’t make sense, why leave and be killed by Vikings in tje first place if you’re perfectly safe in dragon haven? I just didn’t like how they made the dragons leave, I guess that’s just a personal opinion but it just didn’t seem like Toothless…it just ruined the whole story I grew up loving, dragons and Vikings, an underdog Viking and a Night Fury bonding and helping each other, the third movie just dropped that all. Honestly the Light Nights were my fav part of the entire movie🤷♀️ (Opps, sorry that was kind of a rant…lol…)

Ahh, ok! XD I really did not put that much thought into it, and just learned all that, so I really enjoyed it! The only problem was that it ended for good. *cries* lol

Yeah, I still liked it but those few things just bothered me and the ending ‘Go Toothless’ just no😭 really though I’m sure if I put my geeky side aside and just watched it I would have enjoyed it more.
I know 😭 why did it have to end?! *cries* even though I didn’t like the third movie as much I still want more, like a series between 2 and 3 or a movie about Astrid and Hiccup’s kids.

What?!! Never seen How To Train Your Dragon!?? *Pulls you aside* Grace, Grace, we need to talk…lol…jk…not jugdeing, I haven’t seen a ton of movies most people watch so yeah…lol…but really if you like dragons it is a great movie! The characters are great! Hiccup is a great underdog hero and Toothless is the best! It has good humor, cool dragons, beautiful friendships, and even a little romance😏 #Hicstrid

Race to the Edge needs more love, the show that got me back into HTTYD, and it has such good characters and plot!

Yes, it really does! There are a lot of Race To The Egde haters and I don’t understand why people don’t like it🤷♀️ its soooooo cool and the characters are great, the dragons are amazing, and it lines up with the movies perfectly!💖💖💖

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! Thank you soooooooooooo much!!!💖💖🥰🥰 Thanks, Garf was fun to draw!🥰🧡💛💙 (Its only on Netflix but if you ever get Netflix I highly recommend it, it’s a really cool series!😉) Oooo, well, a Death Song makes echoes and humming sounds and makes a song to attracts other dragon species, and it shoots acid that turns hard when it hits something solid and captures the other dragons in it (it’s called Death Song amber and it can only be broken by Monstrous Nightmare gel or by Singe Tale Dragons) Death Songs normally eat other dragons (thier not very nice little guys😒) but of course Garf doesn’t do that, he’s a nice Death Song and actually gets along with other dragons, aka he’s trained😊💖💖 sorry if that’s confusing…lol…im not good at explaining things😂😂
