Language:
None! There are a few instances where I say a character cursed, but never any bad words.

Magic:
No. I know, the fire on the cover…let me explain. Emberlings are born with the ability to create creatures out of fire and it is a gift from Elohim (God). It is not something that anyone else can learn how to do. It is simply a natural state of being for a fantasy race in my fantasy world. The same is true of the Wavelings in the story. If you have any questions about it feel free to reach out. I’m always willing to answer questions.

Violence/Gore:
This is a fantasy, and a high-stakes fantasy at that…so yes, there is violence but I do my best to keep everything super clean. I’m a queasy reader, it doesn’t take much to turn my stomach so what I write is the bare minimum. The characters get hurt, some characters die, there are mentions of death, murder, burns, and wounds. But nothing overly graphic.
The Giants are pagan and serve false gods, but they are a minor part of the plot in book 1 (which can be read as a standalone!).

Romance:
Because I know some of you came here just for that. XD There is no smut, I would even say no spice…it’s a sweet slow-burn romance. One kiss, two forehead kisses, and some hugs and handholding with the focus being on the internal character of the characters, such as Malcolm noticing Iya’s kindness and Iya admiring Malcolm’s protective nature. I did my best to base their relationship on more than just physical appearance.

Malcolm Cabe is fueled by hatred as he sets out to annihilate the fire-wielding Emberlings responsible for his father’s death. However, his mission takes an unexpected turn when he saves Iyana, a secretive girl haunted by a heartrending past.

Iya must keep her identity hidden from Malcolm and the other Rangers because if they discover who she is…death awaits her. But if the truth is never told how can they find the strength to forgive and unite? Decisions need to be made, and the wrong ones could lead to the destruction of all of Uriu.

Conclusion:
