Hey guys! Today I’m giving you the dish on all the publishing updates for Emberling! And maybe even some info on the progress of the series as a whole! Who’s ready?

Update #1

Emberling is up for pre-order an ebook and the cover reveal in September 24th! I’m so excited to reveal the cover! The formatting is done and I love the way it turned out! My proof copy got her last weekend and I’m now reading through and catching those last few pesky typos that managed to sneak in…lol…K.R. Mattson with Rogue Art did the scene breaks for me and they are so epic!

Update #3

The order/pre-order goodies are starting to roll in! I am so excited about these! I’ve gotten the bookmarks already and they are stunning! I love them! I’m ordering the stickers soon as well as the character cards so I will have those ready to send out to US readers!

Update #4

Book 2 is finished! Project W has been completed for over a month now and sitting while I read over Emberling and make edits and notes about details I need to know for book 2 and 3 in the series!

I currently have 300 words in book 3, but I’ve got almost 1k in snippet ideas for the book once I start writing. XD

Another fun thing about the series is that I wrote a novelette that connects not just to book 1, but also to book 2 and 3. So I’m hoping to edit it again and polish it a bit and sometime in the new year release this little story for y’alls enjoyment as well! Also, because this character shows up in Project W, so everyone will need context…lol…

Conclusion

That’s a wrap on the updates, really not much to say, I should have started doing these back in March when I began editing but *shrugs* what can I say life has been busy. But if you scroll on down I’ve got an excerpt from the book as well as a few graphics for you’re enjoyment!

I ran a shaky hand over my face and turned to face the meadows. The grasses whispered in the wind, singing the secrets of Elohim, or so Mother said. She claimed if you slowed down and listened close enough, you would hear Him, and He would tell you what to do.

I had the hardest time picking a piece to share…lol…So many I wanted to share but then I couldn’t find a place to cut the scene. XD

So, who’s excited about the cover reveal next week? Have you snagged an ARC? I’m hoping to have those sent out by mid October at the latest…but guys, I’m so excited! This book has been so much fun to write and edit and I just can’t wait for y’all to see it and read it and hopefully love it as much as I do!
