*Percy crosses arms, mumbling something*

*sigh* Finally. Alright, moving on to the post! Man, I feel like I haven’t been here in sooooo LONGGG…lol…I don’t know if it was that long ago but it feels like forever since I’ve posted by myself over here.

*Percy intercepts* Since This Gray Canvas’s release, Jaiden has utterly neglected her blog responsibilities and has instead indulged herself in Tolkien books and mysterious book projects  she will not share about—

*unplugs mic* Seriously, dude, go! None of that is true! *thinks for a moment* Okay, some of that is true, but I’ve doing a lot more productive things too! Like… like…Like this blog post! Let’s go read it!! *ushers Percy out of room* Enjoy the post everyone and ignore Fudgbottom, he has no idea what he’s talking about!

1. Are you an introvert or extrovert?

I’m sort of an amnivert, but def more on the introvert side. I’m pretty outgoing around close family and friends, but around strangers I’m super shy…lol… 

2. Your house is on fire. If you could take only three things with you (not counting animals and people), what three things would you grab?

Um, both my tablets, only because one has my novels on it and the other has my art, so I’m just saving my work here, not saving my devices simply to save my devices, if you know what I mean 😉 and my current sketchpad with all my new and best drawings in it most likely 🙂

3. Who is your least favorite character and why?

Oof…least favorite?? Ermm…. Well, some villains are pretty obvious, so let’s go with a good guy that I don’t like from a book I do like, shall we??

Tough call, but I think I’m gonna go with Imogen from the False Prince, she’s just so annoying and can never make up her mind, like you have to do this, they look up to you then says things like why did you do that? Like girl, you told him to three chapters ago *eyeroll*

Sage deserves so much better.

4. What is your favorite literary trope? Is there a book you’ve read that has it in it?

Light over darkness, hands down every time! And yes, most of the books I read have this trope, because I love happy endings! ❤ one of my all-time favs tho is LotR, obviously XD

I have lots of others tho, redemption, blind characters (you can blame Peter Nimble for that XD), thief characters, found family, hidden royal, dragons! Ect…lol…I don’t know if you’d exactly call them tropes, but I don’t really like actual tropes like love triangles and such so yeah…lol!

5. If you’re a writer, do you find something (a trope, concept, theme) that seems to appear in everything you’ve written/are writing? If you’re not a writer, do you find one of these things in books you’ve read that you enjoyed?

Hope, definitely! Usually redemption mixed in somewhere even if it’s a side character, accepting change, and forgiveness! I usually always have these in my fantasy novels, without even meaning to 90% of the time, and most of my contemporary’s are about change usually because thats a personal struggle of mine.

And just for fun, sarcasm and wit, in literally everything I write ;p 

6. Cats or dogs?

DOGS!! Dogs all the way!! ❤

I’m allergic to cats, but even if I wasn’t I’m still not a cat person. They climb on everything and just no. I like other people’s cats, like my bff’s cats, they’re the sweetest, but I don’t want my own cat, no thank you. Just give me a dog, please! 😀

7. What is your favorite flower? Why?

Hmm…I don’t really know, I like all flowers! 🙂 But I like orchids of any kind! My mom has always had tropical orchids and my dad takes us hunting for mountain orchids all the time, it’s really fun! (Unless you end up in a muggy swamp somewhere…lol…)

8. Would you rather sing or play an instrument in front of a crowd?

Probably sing. I’ve sung on stage once and if you close your eyes and pray it’s not too, too bad. Still terrifying tho, and I’ll probably never do that again…lol!

9. Would you rather read a romance or adventure book?

Adventure every time!!! I’ve never been a romantic person, I prefer a side romance in an adventure book like Faramir and Eowyn (LotR) or Thomas and Emma (Fawkes). But that’s about all the romance I need. A small one on the side where I can actually ship them without knowing if they’re actually going to fall in love or not unlike a romance book where obviously they end up together, because that’s literally what the book’s about…lol!

Give me adventure and danger! XD

10. What is one Scripture that has really helped you in your life?

Psalm 23 has helped me a lot lately, it’s basically been my lifeline. 

And Still Waters (Psalm 23) by Leana Crawford is a great song based on the psalm that has helped me a lot too! God showed me through music what I needed in His Word ❤

11. Do you like asking questions or answering them better?

Answering definitely! I never know what to ask…lol…and now I have to think of 11? Yay….hahaha! Here goes nothing!

Conclusion:

Welp, that’s a wrap!! I can’t think of anyone that I haven’t seen do this tag recently, so if you want to use my questions, go ‘write‘ ahead! (Get it? Write, right?? *Percy slaps forehead in background* XD)
