Hey-oh everyone, today’s post is super short, but I wanted to share these graphics and little bit of concept for what it’s like to be Ethan from This Gray Canvas!
What if you were 1 in 30,000 people who say the world in black and white? Crazy thought, right?
Then what if you were part of a very small percent of those people who could see 1 other color and that color was green?
Welcome to Ethan’s world!

Ethan is the main character of my new Middle-Grade Contemporary This Gray Canvas. He has monochromatic vision, meaning he sees the world like a black-and-white movie, except he can see the color green!

It was a concept that hit me after seeing the picture in the center of this collage on Pinterest. What if an artist could only see black, white, & green? And so the rabbit hole was opened and now several years later once the story came to me you guys get to read Ethan’s story!
What do you think of Ethan’s world? Are you excited about release day? Just 4 more days y’all! I can’t believe it!
Also, anyone who orders on the 25th (or preorders now) can fill out this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdittTUpRe1PaM1Hbd_IrSSE_0f36uELidOfbNGMUhPFraAVw/viewform
