Now, let’s recap what’s going on with Sisters Three!
Kayti
I’m back at work after the holiday break and slightly out of the groove, so I gotta get my head back in the game this week. 🙂
I’m just about done with self edits for Emberling! I’ve got some scenes added and the story is now 86k words long! I’m stunned I wrote something so extensive and the amount of world-building I did is surprising me because I’m usually pretty vague in the description department.
Project W is…untouched. I’m hoping to pick it up again later this week and work on editing and expanding the beginning and hopefully diving back into the story and finishing it by April or May…Yeah, I’m not over ambitious because lately my writing time has been super limited.
Rissy
Well, I didn’t get a whole lot done in December…I was busy with Christmas…lol…then came down with a cold and it took me a bit to knock it out of my system. I did however write some on Friday and I was so happy about that! It wasn’t my best work, but I got the ideas down and am pushing on with the project and that’s what matters!
I’m hoping to get a lot of writing done this month but we shall see what happens. But I have good intentions anyway. 🙂
Jaidie
Well, Project LSoO is being put on hold while I world build because I can’t move any further until I figure out where everything is and how everything works and what it looks like. I made it as far as I could with limited details but now I’m working on a world building journal and quite enjoying myself!
In the meantime I’ve pulled out an old project and I’m excited to dive into the story and rework it to be less…sad…lol…
I completed the cover for my MG Contemporary Novella – This Gray Canvas! So, those sign-ups are open here!
Sisters Three
We didn’t get a whole lot done in December as a group. We got a little bit written in our Christmas Novella…and came up with a blue million ideas for future Christmas stories if we can find time to write them…lol…
We also, once January rolled around, began another round of edits on Trail of Assassins and are hoping to have those done by the end of the month!
Conclusion
In the end 2023 was a great year! We published Prince of Vengeance, Heard in Silence, and The Guild of Thieves! Sent out a free short story in December and Kayti had two short stories featured in Seize the Love and Seize the Fight!
We finished the draft of Trail of Assassins and a few other projects as well! We had fun, we were productive, and God blessed us with several book sales at the end of the year! We’re excited to see what 2024 has in store for us!
How was 2023 for you? Are you excited about the new year? What are some of your resolutions?

Yours in Stories and Dreams!
