“I asked to use the idea!” *Kayti yells from the back of the room*
*Percy glares* “Once again, Kaytlin Phillips, aka Kayti of the Sisters Three writing trio has stolen someone else’s post! Is she losing her creative edge?” *raises eyebrow*
“Percy Fudgebottom!” *Kayti puts hands on hips and stands over the cowering Fudgebottom* “I am not losing my edge, now get out.”

1. What’s their name?
Rasil Gallion
I’m not really sure where the names came from….Rasil was in my name book I’ve complied (For more on that click here), but I don’t know where I picked it up…lol…. And I needed a last name and Gallion was the first thing that came to mind, to which I spent 10 minutes deciding how to spell and pronounce it…lol…
So his name is said Ra-sil Gal-li-on…lol…
2. What’s their role? (Sidekick, Main Character, Villain, etc)
Main Character…though in the eyes of many he’s the villain…hehe…
You’ll have to read the novella to find out why that is…
*waggles eyebrows*
3. Do they love anyone?
His family! And that’s it….at least in the beginning of the novella. *smiles*
4. Do they have any relatives?
He has a pater, mater, two younger fraters, and two younger sorors.
In the kingdom of Rhodon father is said Pater, mother is Mater, brother is frater, and sister is soror.
5. Inspiration for character?
Well, he just kind of showed up after I decided what I wanted the story to be about…he showed up with a deep sense of loyalty, a love for his kingdom, a respect for others, and unwavering faith in Deus (God).
I also knew I wanted to do the amnesia trope…and yeah, he stemmed from that. Sorry, Rasil.
6. Backstory?
He’s lived in the capital city his whole life with his family at there bakery. But that’s it, nothing too exciting until the Rose of Fate enters the picture….
7. Dream? Fears?
Fear is that he won’t remember who he is or what happened to him before it’s too late….
Dreams…right now he doesn’t have a ton. Minus figuring out who he is…lol…
8. Friends?
He has one friend outside of family named Mateo, he’s so funny! I love the dear fellow.
9. What is the story’s name?
Rose of Fate
10. Blurb of the story?
You are lucky I have one…but usually I don’t have a blurb ready but my friend, E (what I call her when we chat on Google Chats…lol…) helped me with this one, and she’s never read the story! I just gave her summary, it was awesome!
The Rose of Fate is never wrong, or so they say, yet Rasil Gallion has been sentenced to a traitors death.
When the king is killed, Rasil’s life is stolen from him by the Rose of Fate, branding him the murderer. He escapes execution but loses his memories, his name, and who he is in the process.
Noami is struggling to face her own fraught path when her brother comes across a broken man who doesn’t know who he is. Despite the hardship he’s endured, the man puts his trust in Noami and her brother to keep him safe.
But when Noami finds out who Rasil is, and what he’s supposedly done, she’s forced to unpack his past and face her own, and decide whether or not she will protect Rasil from the fate of a traitor. From the death that the Rose of Fate demands.
11. What are their habits?
Um, hard one….shaking his head, which he finds very painful after *ahem* an accident….
12. Random fact about them?
Oh, random fact…uh…
He’s not a huge fan of winter or, hiems as the season is called in his world…lol…
And he loves Chillberry cookies!
13. Personality?
He’s quiet, loyal, and confident in his faith in Deus…overall he’s a super sweet cinnamon roll!!!
14. Hobbies?
He doesn’t have much time for hobbies in the story…but I reckon if I had to pick some they would be helping at his families bakery, practicing his sword skills, and reading the Holy Scripts.
15. Inspiration for the story?
Like Saraina I’ll say that the prompt for The Black Rose Collection: Receiving a black rose is a death sentence. Was a huge inspiration for the story!
Though at first I floundered a little and even began an outline of a story that is sort of like ‘To Best the Boys’ but the outlining didn’t work so I dropped that story after seven paragraphs and began winging RoF!
