Hello all! Here is the fifth round of the Sunshine Blogger Award! Woo-hoo! Anyway, let’s dive right in!
First, the da rules!
- Thank the blogger who nominated you and link back to their blog (Thanks so much to our dear friend Lillian Keith for tagging us with these awesome questions! Check out her amazing blog here.)
- Answer the questions
- Nominate eleven bloggers and ask them eleven questions
The Questions!
1.) If you could rule your own island, what is the first law that you’d make once in office?
You must have book vending machines at every store…and there must be a book store around every corner! And everything will be organic!!! Lol…and no one will be allowed to walk on Rissy’s freshly mopped floors *glares at our brothers*
2.) Would you rather survive in the Sahara Desert or Antarctica?
In Antarctica….you can put on more clothes, and eat snow to survive, but the desert not much to work with…lol…
3.) If you discovered a new star, what would you name it?
God’s Gift….to remind us of all the gifts He has given us the greatest being His Son.
4.) If you couldn’t be a writer, what’s one job that you would love to have?
Jaidie says, illustrator! Rissy says she wouldn’t have a job, which is not true…she’s great with animals so maybe she could breed dogs or something….Kayti says, literary agent or book reviewer!!!!
5.) Would you rather explore space or the ocean depths?
How about neither? Kayti and Jaidie here….Rissy says ocean depths, as long as she’s in a submarine…lol….
6.) Which fictional character (movie or book) do you wish was real?
Ahhhh!!!! Why? *pulls out long list* Ahem…we won’t bore you but just know there are a LOT!!!!!!!!!!
7.) Would you like your life story to be a musical or a documentary?
Musical! Because documentaries are just boring…..we’re not big on musicals but they are definitely more interesting than documentaries…lol….
8.) What three toppings would you use on your very own pizza (sauce and cheese already included)?
Only three? Sausage, bacon, pepperoni…wait! There are three of us so we get nine toppings!!!! Yay!!!!! (Using this whole sister three thing to our advantage…haha….) Ham, Canadian bacon, chicken, steak pieces, peppers, olives, pineapples!!!! Okay, maybe not all on the same pizza…this is getting a little weird….lol…
9.) What would your dream house look like?
*Clears throat* We’ve had this planned since we were like five…a huge farmhouse! Which is divided into four houses connected to each other, the basement is one big library which you can access from all the houses, one house for each of us and one for our parents! There’d be a big barn and lots of animals and dogs! And it would be in Alaska or Montana…possibly Alberta…lol….oh, and there would be horses!!!!
10.) What’s your least favorite song that drives you crazy?
Lights Shine Bright by Toby Mac and Hollyn…that song creeps us out! And any song from Annie! We hate that movie!!! Hate it!!!! Drives us batty!!!!!! Sorry, to any Annie’s fans…lol…we just really dislike it…haha…
11.) Do you prefer milkshakes or smoothies?
Why would you drink a smoothie when you can have a milkshake which is basically ice cream!!!! Lol…true we might have a mild dairy allergy which makes us have eczema when we eat it, but….it is totally worth it!!!!!
Some News
Okay, so….we are almost done with our edit run-through, we’ll finish up tonight, and then it’s off to the editor with Unfortunate Events! We’re hoping to have it ready to publish sometime between August and October…but haven’t set a date as of yet. 😉 But we can tell you guys we are super excited that we get to start editing book two in the series tonight! And we’re pumped to actually get past chapter 1 of book 3 hopefully…lol…
Also, June is coming to a close…so if you are entering the Heard in Silence short story contest it is time to wrap those entries up and get them submitted! We are so excited to see what you all wrote and really can’t wait to get this thing edited and published and all that jazz!!! So, if you need the link for submissions, here it is!
Okay, do you prefer milkshakes or smoothies? What song or songs drive you crazy? Are you excited about Unfortunate Events? Are you entering Heard in Silence? Let us know in the comments!
(Also, if you want to be tagged consider yourself tagged…lol…)
Hooroo!
Sisters Three
For sure choosing milkshakes! Almost anything by Taylor Swift gets on my very last nerves. (No offense to anyone who likes here lol) I am super excited for Unfortunate Events! It sounds really exciting and interesting!!!!! Can’t wait!

Haha, yes! Milkshakes!!! Oh, yep….Taylor Swift is not our favorite…lol…we have like one of her songs on our playlist, and most the time wonder why? Hahaha….Ack, glad to hear it!! Thank you!!!!!

So exciting! Also the submissions thing is for people with new entries, if we entered the first contest we’re all good, right? Just want to make sure what I need to do.

Yes, it’s for new entries…but we didn’t see your name on the forms? Unless you entered under a pen name?

I entered under “Hailey Marshall” during the first contest. I wasn’t one of the 3 winners though. My story was titled “No Longer Silent”. If I need to I can enter again to be put on the form.

Okay, we’re using the same form and were planning to put all the stories from the contest in the anthology, but yours is not there Hailey. Which is weird, and we hate that because we never saw it, not even during the contest, which is a bummer. So, if you’ll resubmit your story and let us know when you do we’ll check and make sure it comes through this time. If not we’ll give you an email address to send it to.
We seriously hate that your story never came through. 😦

Entered again! Hopefully it works this time.

“no one will be allowed to walk on Rissy’s freshly mopped floors *glares at our brothers*”
RELATABLE! Why do brothers feel the need to do that?
I’d never heard of Lights Shine Bright, but I listened to it and I actually really like it! It’s catchy, but kinda sweet yet. I like that style, but it’s hard to find songs like that. Lost Boy by Ruth B. is one of the only other songs I’ve found like that.
Smoothies are the best! I do love milkshakes, but a good strawberry smoothie is unbeatable,
Songs that drive me crazy… there aren’t many, but my top one is the MYCA song. I just can’t stand it.

Hahaha, yes, brothers…*shakes heads* not sure what it is with them and mopped floors…lol…
Hahaha, well, glad we found you a new favorite song, just don’t ask us to jam with you….lol…Oh, Lost Boy is a pretty good song….
Yep, it’s official we don’t like smoothies because our family only makes healthy ones…lol…
Ack! We just want to reach out grab that song and crush it! Lol…drives us crazy too…

Oh my gosh, this was such a great post gals! I loved it!
I prefer ice cream over milkshakes or smoothies as well. I can not stand any music from Annie. None of it. *apologizes to all those Annie’s fans* But I also can’t stand Yes He Does by Cain…I love their other music but not this one. I don’t know what it is, I just can’t.
I really, really, really want to summit my thing for Heard in Silence….but I have a problem: It is a poem. It’s not a story, per se. Though, it does have a story kinda flow. So I have one important question…can I summit my beautifully small edition to the works, my little poem (okay, maybe it is a bit longer).
Other than that, yes. I am stoked for y’all!!! Like, very, very stoked!!!

Thank you so much!!!!
Yes! Ice cream wins!!!! Us either!!!! *points* Kylie get us! Lol…*also apologizes to Annie fans* Oh, we get that….
Yes! You can submit it!!!! Go for it girl!!! We have everything from historical fiction pieces based off of real people to crazy fantasy stories about…well, fantasy things….lol…a poem would be a lovely addition! So excited to read it!!!
Eeeek! Thank you!!! Us too!!!!! *bounces up and down*

Great answers, guys!! This was a lot of fun to read. If Amy had her way, she’d have a giant house for the whole family to live in too XD. And she’d want book vending machines too…everywhere lol.
Ooo, and I liked how you used the Sisters Three to your advantage with the pizza question! I’ll have to try your strategy in the future 😉

Thank you so much! Hahaha, not everyone our brothers are too messy they can have a house out back…haha…Yes! Don’t book vending machines sound amazing!?
Hahaha, couldn’t resist!!! Lol…

I like both milkshakes and smoothies, so it really depends on what I’m in the mood for… Lol.
I think I speak for many people when I say: ‘BABY SHARK’ DRIVES ME CRAZY! Also the song ‘Edge of Dawn’ from Fire Emblem is really annoying.
I entered my story already for Heard in Silence! I hope you all like it! I’m actually listening to my title music composition right now… 😉 I’m so excited to see what all the stories are!!!

Hahaha, we get that. We probably only prefer milkshakes because healthy smoothies are the only thing ever made around here…lol…
Never heard of it…but since it drives you crazy we shall avoid it…lol…
Eeek! We’re excited to read it once all the entries are in!!!! Awesome!!!! They span a wide variety of genres, so it’s going to be fun!

“God’s Gift”… I LOVE that!! 😀 We so need to be reminded of that. Haha, my siblings and I are so bored by documentaries too! (Plus, I love singing so I’d be very much okay with my life being made into a musical. XD) Ohh you hate Annie? *hears the audience gasp* I have a weird love/hate relationship with that movie, so I understand! One song that drives me crazy… Everything is Awesome (though that’s another love/hate thing). Oh, and I hate hearing any Christmas song if it’s not during the Christmas season, mainly because I don’t like the cold and Christmas songs made me think winter is very close. 😂
Such a fun post, girls!! 😀

Ack, thank you! Amen! Hahaha, dad used to make us watch them for school…so, a musical would definitely be more fun! (*Nods head in agreement*) Yep. Lol…just really don’t like it… Oh, yep, we get a love-hate relationship with Everything is Awesome….lol….same with us. Hahaha, but, what? You don’t like the cold? *gasps* We love cold weather! But hate how the media skips holidays so that’s why we don’t like hearing Christmas songs before Thanksgiving.
Thank you so much!!!

Lol, yes… *hears gasps all around the room* I mean, I LOVE the season of autumn, but when there’s snow and it’s always cold, I just don’t like it. 😦 (Though I can appreciate it! 😉 ) Ah, true! That makes sense!

Well, at least you like autumn…we love snow! Probably because we hardly get any…lol…

Finally! All of us in my family are pretty die-hard “no Christmas songs until after Thanksgiving”, and my peers really like to try and play Christmas songs just to push our buttons… (I kinda wish they’d stop that altogether… lol)

Hahaha, yes! No Christmas songs till after we’ve had Thanksgiving!

What an awesome name for a star! I love your guys’ dream house! HAHA, my siblings think that song by Tobymac and Hollyn is just HIL-ARIOUS!!! It is a little…weird.
And could you tell me which Annie you were talking about – the new or old one? Cause we’ve seen the old one and we thought it’s okay – were not fans of it but it’s fine. The song “Its the Hard-Knock Life” is so funny (to us)!

Thank you!!! Eeek! It is a nice dream house *glances longingly at it* Lol…yep, a little weird…
Both…the songs just get on our nerves….ack! It’s the Hard-Knock Life is like our worst hated! Lol…not sure why we just really don’t like those movies!

Great job!
I would have picked the Sahara, since eating snow dehydrates you and kills you faster, lol
I’m super excited for Unfortunate Events.
Smoothies are easily better than milkshakes, don’t @ me.
I really hate My Jesus by Anne Wilson, it’s so overplayed and not even good, and The Sorting Hat Song from Harry Potter, it’s really annoying lol!

Thank you!
Haha, we meant we’d melt the snow of course, given that we have the basic things needed for survival…lol…or maybe we could just find us an icicle to suck on…haha…
Yay!!! Glad to hear it!!!
What???? Okay, maybe we don’t have fun smoothies at our house…the only smoothie around here contains spinach and bleh…lol…
My Jesus has been overplayed….*nods heads* and we don’t watch Harry Potter so we can’t sympathize with you…lol…sorry!

Haha, I’m not much of an ice cream guy.
and the song isn’t in the movies, but it takes up 2+ pages in every. single. book. I think you guys would like HP a lot, it’s kind of similar to WFS!

Lol…yeah, we remember you saying that on NS…
Gotcha…wow! That’s a long song! Lol… We actually don’t read books with spell casting in them, it’s a personal biblical conviction for us. But thanks.

eh, just a recommendation, personally, since there’s no actual occult stuff in it, just some latin (which i have fun translating), i’m fine with it.
